Is your hot tub being used in a commercial environment? I.e. Holiday home or caravan.
Make sure it’s in line with the legal legislation ‘HSG 282 Control of legionella and other infectious agents in spa-pool systems’. This helps ensure safety and comfortability for all bathers by completing regular checks, cleans & balancing water chemistry.

Monthly testing for legionnaires bacteria.
Once per month a water sample must be tested for the presence of legionnaires bacteria. This is generally sent off to an external lab, with receipt of a certificate sent post-testing to certify that legionnaires bacteria is not present in your water supply.
Daily checks & upkeep.
Daily, there is quite an extensive list of general up-keep. Including general cleaning the water line and ancillaries, testing and recording disinfectant and pH levels and inspecting clarity, dosing system and any grilles or strainers.
Full system sanitised & flushed between guests.
If your hot tub is part of a rental property, one of the stipulations of HSG 282 is that the water within a spa must be replaced every week or between each set of guests (whichever comes first.)
